A breakdown of the process.
The basic steps go as follows:

6 Steps Below! |
- Message me - Use the form below! We'll get started on how much media you need digitized, what condition or possible repair needs are needed, and set a timeline for pickup and the completion/drop off of your items after all services are completed. I'll also provide a small contract copy for your record of the services and options you'd like, as well as other information on it, for both of us to sign.
- Initial Payment/Pickup of Media Items - This is the amount that will cover the number of VHS/VHS-C Cassettes you need digitized ($15 per cassette) and the pickup/return delivery fee (depending on your location). We will set up a time we can meet up somewhere or I can come out to wherever you are and get the items.
- Checking Media - For safety of your media and my equipment, I will inspect each item you send me for any possible damage or visual issues like mold or cracks in the cases. If I find any, I will contact you to see how you'd like to proceed, before I start on any part of the digitization.
NOTE: I also remove the small safety recording plastic tab on the corners of VHS cassettes if you've not already done so, just as a precaution to help prevent accidental over recording accidents. VHS-C usually have green sliding tabs that if slid to the open position make the tape non-recordable. - Transferring VHS to Digital and/or Physical Disc Media - Video files are created and uploaded to the cloud for you to download. Any previously requested additional Disc or USB Drive Media is also created at this point.
- Final Payment - This is the final amount covering any outstanding or additional costs, including repairs or add-ons. After this, digital files are uploaded to you and we set a meetup time and place to get your original media and any additional physical media back to you.
- Delivery of Items - I drop off media once a week currently, but if a specific time is needed depending on your availability, we can work that out.
